After the fire

Tears fall dark on ashes,

dust rising from cinders.

He calls and she laughs,

nothing lost.

  1. Very powerful. It reminds me of when our boss in Tanzania rang me in England to tell me there had been a fire at the house in Tz. The blood just drained from my body and I felt as if I would faint. It took him what seemed like an age to tell me that Simon was unhurt.

    • Yes, I remember that, or at least remember you telling me about it when we visited you in Tanzania. Puts things in perspective!
